  • Must not be commercial – not specifically talk about your company, products or services. Exception: referring to well-known products, e.g. talking about Solarwinds or Ericsson if you’re not part of Solarwinds or /// is acceptable
  • Must be original and new content (i.e. not previously published)
  • Must be related to Infrastructure, Systems and Network Management
  • Should advance the state of the conversation – not rehashing old arguments or just a simply summary of prior arguments

Step-by-Step Procedure

Once accepted as a contributor

  1. Create a member account on SNMP Center if you haven’t already
  2. Log into the site with your new credentials
  3. Once you’ve logged in,go to the Create Article page
  4. Use the on-line form to write or paste your text, upload images and check for correctness.
  5. Once ready click on “Submit”

Note that SNMP Center staff will have to approve all first-time entries before they show up. This will usually take 2-3 business days and may take longer if we’re busy. In addition, SNMPCenter staff will review all ongoing edits for appropriateness and reserve the right to reject any entry at any time.
